2018 JOSEPH GRAND VIN SHIRAZ

Our Christo’s Paddock vineyard is managed using sensitive farming practices and organic principles. This portion of the vineyard is hand manicured from pruning, through to shoot and fruit thinning to produce a very special parcel of grapes.

Specially selected Shiraz grapes from selected vines. After selective harvesting, berry sorting and fermentation, the wine was matured in 50% new French oak barriques and hogsheads for 16 months. Further barrel selection has resulted in this fine expression of Langhorne Creek Shiraz.

Vibrant deep ruby red. Very intense aromas of ripe blackcurrants, raspberry and sweet spices, along with subtle cedary oak. The palate is very rich and concentrated, with ripe red fruits, powerful yet soft tannins and great length.
