Passionfruit, citrus, and snow pea characters but toasty, spicy and textural too. Sauvignon Blanc grapes from two blocks in our Adelaide Hills vineyard were selectively harvested and whole bunch pressed. Malo-lactic fermentation, regular lees-stirring and an additional four months in old French oak barrels are critical to building the wine’s texture, complexity and softness – and a distinctive house style.

Reviews

Karrawatta Anna’s shows all the summer signals without going full Kiwi zone. Light and refreshing, with passionfruit, grassy aromatics, and just a hint of texture that gives it length rather than a quick, sharp finish. Gentle enough to start the afternoon, but not so simple that you forget it.

Drink this in the middle of the day, wearing your hat at a barbecue with some asparagus on your fork… or with your feet in a wading pool under an umbrella, being poured for you. No food required, but it won’t complain if prawns or some earthy greens show up.
