To use this website you must be aged 18 years or older, or over the legal drinking age limit in your country of residence.  The use of this website is governed by the following terms and conditions, which may be amended by us from time to time. Every time you use this website, you acknowledge to us that you have read these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them. 

Site Policy

All information on this site is provided in good faith and is accurate to the best of our knowledge. We accept that errors and omissions may occur, and if you believe an error has been made please contact us. We assume no responsibility and accept no liability for the condition, content or goods and services available on third party websites which may be linked to or accessed from this website.

Sales Policy

If you use this website to purchase goods from us, we may require that you open an account and that you create a username and password. You must keep your account username and password details confidential and secure at all times. You must not allow any other person to use your account, including any person under the age of 18.  You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs on your account and must notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised access to or use of your account.  Product prices and availability are subject to change without notice, and all prices are quoted in Australian dollars and include GST. Payment must be received before the product will be dispatched. 

Delivery Policy

Delivery is currently available Australia wide and to the USA.  Freight will be charged in addition to the quoted purchase price, with charges indicated during the checkout process. All wines will be delivered to your home or office via courier service or Australia Post during normal business hours. Please allow 5 – 10 days for delivery.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

We will replace or refund you for any bottle of wine that is damaged. We require you, the customer, to return the unfinished portion of the original bottle for replacement.  By law, we cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages unless the product is corked, or damaged. We are also unable to accept the return of wine that was damaged due to adverse weather conditions during shipment, or wine that is ordered in error.  Once the wine is received, we will refund the credit or debit card used for purchase for the cost of the wine, less shipping and handling. If the original shipment was damaged or flawed you will receive a full refund, including shipping and handling charges.  Please send an email to hello@karrawatta.com.au if you need to arrange a return or refund. All event tickets purchased are non refundable.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, all intellectual property appearing on this website (such as names, trademarks, logos and copyright material) are owned by Karrawatta and/or our related companies.  You must not use that intellectual property in any way whatsoever, except as expressly permitted by us in writing (or in the case of copyright material, as permitted by Australian and international copyright laws).

What kind of information do we collect from you?

When you visit karrawatta.com.au we may collect some basic information about your computer via Google, for example what type of browser and operating system are you using; how long did you stay on our site; what pages did you look at. This helps us to understand how visitors browse our site, so that we can make their shopping experience better. We also collect personal information that you provide to us (i.e. when you check out of our store) such as your name, address, postal code, phone number, etc. We need this information to process payment and ship the product to you. Our website is intended for visitors aged 18 years and over, and we do not knowingly collect data relating to minors.

How we use your data

By subscribing to our Mailing List or Sovereign Club, you provide your contact details to receive communications about offers, promotions and events from Karrawatta until such time you choose to opt out.  Should you wish to opt out at any time, or can do so via the unsubscribe function in emails sent, or contacting us via phone or email.  Karrawatta (and trusted partners acting on our behalf) may collect and use your personal data:

• to provide goods and services to you;
• to manage any membership accounts that you hold with us;
• to verify your identity;
• with your agreement, to contact you electronically or otherwise about promotional offers and products and services which we think may interest you;
• for customer service and market research purposes – to better understand your needs; and

Sharing of personal information

Karrawatta will not sell, trade or rent your information to any other companies. Your details remain yours and may be shared with our service partners for the purpose of communicating Karrawatta offers only, or to third parties who are involved in the process of completing a transaction.

Protecting your information

Any payment information we collect is done so under SSL – a standard internet security measure. Any data that we store about you is kept behind a secure firewall in our database and is not accessible to the public in any way. Your online account is protected by an encrypted password that you can reset, for your privacy and security.

Your Rights

You can ask us what data we hold about you at any time, and you have the right to ask us to update and correct any out-of-date or incorrect personal data that we hold about you. You can also request to have your personal data deleted.
