2019 POPSIE SPARKLING BLANC DE BLANCS

Handpicked Chardonnay from our high altitude Meadows vineyard, in the Adelaide Hills. This Méthode Traditionnelle sparkling wine has fresh citrus aromas of lime and lemons mixed with subtle white peach notes. A fresh aperitif style, with notes of citrus fruits and granny smith apples, and a deliciously satisfying mid palate. The light sherbet mousse builds these notes pleasantly, leading to creaminess on the palate, and a lingering dry finish.

Our Chardonnay grapes were whole bunch pressed to give soft juice, maturation and malo-lactic fermentation in old French oak barriques, and then over 36 months on yeast lees post-tirage bottling. Great with light dishes such as entrées, salads, seafood and for any celebration!
